Just a quick update before spring really begins! We had quite the mild winter to spend getting equipment ready, doing tile projects, and hauling grain. And although it is quite cool yet, we were able to get out in the field and get a few bugs worked out and get some spraying done today. This year we are applying nitrogen with some sulfur as the carrier for our pre-plant corn herbicide. We have seen signs of sulfur deficiency in cool springs and are looking to give the corn plant the best possible start that we can. Planting is just around the corner and we are ready to go. We are looking forward to the year ahead! Stay tuned for regular updates of field operations and crop conditions. Oh, and just maybe, the occasional picture of a couple of cute kids might pop up!
