Spring is here and field work has begun.  After a winter busy with getting machinery ready, hauling grain, and planning, we have been able to get out in the fields to start preparing for planting. We leveled out tile lines from tile installed last fall and winter. Pictured is Bender Land Improvement’s tile plow installing one of our pattern drainage tile projects this January. Also shown, is the sprayer in the shopping for the installation of our new 360 Y-Drop nitrogen application attachment. More on that soon! Ben has been a great asset in the shop during slow grain hauling times, getting machinery ready for spring and maintaining and repairing the semi.  As pictured, not all of the shop “help” is so helpful, but quite entertaining nonetheless! Kinsley is also shown loving on some newborn kittens on the farm this spring. We were able to get a good start on our preplant corn herbicide and fertilizer spraying before the rain stopped us this week.  We are glad for the moisture and warm temps as planting is just around the corner!
