Spraying Beans and Scouting Fields

We have been scouting fields and spraying beans when we can between windy days and stormy afternoons. Our non-GMO beans have been a little slower growing than Round-up beans in the area this year due to the full rate of pre plant herbicide we used.  However, the weed situation looks excellent, and we have been able to get almost all of our beans sprayed while the weeds were still very small and easier to kill.  We only have our two latest planted bean fields left to spray.  The corn is growing rapidly now and looks to have excellent yield potential.  We have had plenty of rain in the past week, over 3″ in some places.  Fortunately, it has been spread out and we have missed the flooding and hail that the storms dumped on some places in the Midwest.IMG_3332 IMG_3335 IMG_3348
