We were able to finish planting our last day of beans on May 20th as the weather finally dried off again. We spent the rest of the week doing maintenance on farms before the crops got too big. We used the ATV and Gator to pick up rocks and spray waterways, ditches, creeks, and fence rows. Last week, we sprayed the corn herbicide and side dressed the last portion of nitrogen on our corn-on-corn. Click the link below the pictures to see a video of the side dressing. We were able to get it all done last week but had to dodge a few thunderstorms and even a land-spout that popped up a couple miles away from where we were spraying! This week, we receive a nice .75-1″ of rain. The crops look to be off to a superb start!
