Another good week of planting

The weather gave us another great window to get work done last week.  We finished up corn last Monday and began spraying the pre-plant herbicide that is the backbone of our non-GMO bean weed control.  We switched over the planter and began planting beans then on Tuesday.  We continued to spray when the winds allowed and plant beans when it was too windy to spray. Rainy weather shut us down with short day of beans left to plant.  The corn has all emerged evenly and looks to be off to a great start.  The first beans planted are just beginning to poke through one week after planting thanks to temperatures in the 80’s last week!
