Harvest and Tillage

Harvest went very well considering the challenges that the wet fall posed for us. Although we had almost weekly rain delays, we were able to keep rolling thanks to some spread out fields, fields with adequate drainage, and equipment well set-up for the wet conditions. The corn crop was exceptional and beans were above average. We are very thankful for such a good, safe, and timely harvest!

Once harvest was finished we worked hard to keep the chisel rolling and get tillage done as the fields were drying out quite nicely.  When the weather cools down, we are ready to apply some fall ammonia. Until then, we look forward to the arrival of our 3rd little “shotgun-rider” any day now!
